To spend a night in a Carpathian reserve or park: 6 options

June 2024

National parks and nature reserves preserve especially beautiful corners of our nature. Often these are wild places that are difficult to reach (yes, we know about the logistical difficulties). To simplify their lives, tourists and researchers can rent accommodation at parks and reserves: from there, they can get to the route faster, observe nature more conveniently, and relax further away from the noise of tourist towns.

It is also a great opportunity to live in an unusual place as houses for scientists or in the premises of former forestries. We know that some national parks in Ukraine have even equipped birdwatching towers for overnight stays!

In this article, we have collected options where you can stay in the reserves and parks of the Carpathians. We will keep adding to the list.
